Fleet Update:


Dünya Denizcilik is presently managing four 47,000 dwt vessels built by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard and four 51,000 dwt vessels built by STX, both in South Korea. They are all IMO2&3, Product/Chemical MR tankers delivered between September 2006 and January 2008. These vessels are commercially managed by A.P. Moller/Maersk in their Handytankers pool and are trading worldwide.

Dünya also manages four 17,000 dwt IMO 2&3 Product/Chemical, Ice Class 1A, Turkish built, Intermediate tonnage tankers. These vessels were delivered from 3 reputable Turkish yards between July 2007 and April 2009.

Dünya, as Managers is also having an ongoing newbuilding project in South Korea. Three 113,250 dwt LR2 tankers have been ordered at SPP Plants & Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., Sacheon and five 52,000 dwt large MRs at HMD, Korea with deliveries of 2010 and 2011.
